B#SIDE WAR

“B#side War” is a project curated by the Association IoDeposito, founded in 2009 in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Its aim is contributing to the advancement of young people’s welfare and cultural well-being through the media of arts. Proud to be part of this project as a photographer during one of my first assignments.

  • BUSINESS IoDeposito is a NGO that works with the aim of supporting young people’s specific competencies related to visual arts projects, training and research in the fields of cultural management, art and curatorial practices. The first edition of the artistic and cultural festival has looked at the Great War as an historical event full of ‘B sides’ not yet investigated. The Great War has been a violent social and cultural ‘bomb’ that hit civilians, nationalities, individuals, groups and families, as well as a watershed that changed dimensions and proportions and a strong shift of myths, rituals, values, identity. It has left behind many legacies that still determine, today, our contemporary experience.
